Ruimte / Space Op dit moment ben ik bezig met mijn master architectuur- en stedenbouwgeschiedenis. Hiervoor heb ik de bachelor kunst- en architectuurgeschiedenis afgerond. Mijn studie heb ik aangevuld met vakken van de studies filosofie, culturele geografie, architectuur en landschapsgeschiedenis. Samen met enkele medestudenten heb ik het Ruimtecollectief opgericht: een platform voor studenten en afgestudeerden van alle studies die (stedelijke of landelijke) ruimte als onderwerp hebben. Van augustus tot december 2011 heb ik een stage gedaan bij Strootman Landschapsarchitecten. / At the moment I’m doing my masters in history of architecture and urban development. Prior to this I completed a bachelor in history of arts and architecture. I broadened my studies with classes from philosophy, cultural geography, architecture and history of landscape. Together with some fellow students I set up het Ruimtecollectief (The Space collective): a platform for students and graduates from studies which have (urban or rural) space as one of their main subjects. From august until december of 2011 I did an internship at Strootman Landscapedesign.

background Anna Berkhof is a visual artist with roots in both urbanism and architecture studies, and a growing experience in various types of graphic design. With a keen eye for the shape of our surroundings, her photographic and graphic work engages with the relations between void and matter, and the lack and suggestion of space. As a painter on the other hand, she focuses on capturing the essence of human introversion, often flirting with the uncanny. Up to this point she has designed posters for concerts and lectures, artwork for different music media, layouts for magazines and theses, and has worked on maps and pictograms for a landscape design agency. At the moment she’s doing an internship at the Eddie the Eagle museum.
